LEVEL 2
Level 2 are for our middle-of-the-road members. You have been working out for a while and need a little bit of a challenge.
Below we have listed some Group Fitness classes that would be good for the majority of our members. If you are wanting a little bit of a challenge, give them a try.
Body Flow This class will lengthen, strengthen, tone and redefine your body. This is a one-hour class that combines Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chai styled movements and helps to reduce stress.
Body Pump is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for - and fast!
Cardio Strength Interval is a class that motivates you to work to your limits. CSI offers strength training, toning and endurance including high intensity drills to raise the heart rate combined with weight training to give you the most intense cardio & strength workout while still providing a class that can be preformed by all levels of fitness.
Core Strength A strength training workout with a variety of exercises designed to work your entire abdominal & back area. You'll build muscles you never even knew you had while developing major CORE strength.
Express Hi/Lo/Kick is a fast paced class for all fitness levels. This class will travel you around the room using a combination of high and low aerobics in addition to some basic kickboxing.
Express Step is a faced paced and intense combination of your favorite step moves. Recommended for the intermediate and advanced stepper that wants to quickly burn those calories.
Express Total Body A Class targeting the hips, glutes, thighs, abdominal and upper body muscles. A complete workout in just 30 minutes.
Step This is a step training class with lots of intensity and some complexity including step combinations, athletic training drills and the use of different toning equipment including bands, balls and weights.
Step-N-Run is a FUN and challenging workout that is done interval style. This class is out on the indoor track for the running (or walking) part of the class and in the studio for the stepping.
Total Body A Class targeting the hips, glutes, thighs, abdominal and upper body muscles. A complete workout in 60 minutes.
Variety Step An energizing 30-minute workout with a combination of different step techniques. In this creative and challenging workout, you'll travel from one step to the other as well as between and around. You get 30 un-interrupted minutes of fat burning step cardio workout using multiple steps, directions, partners and drills to motivate and move you.
Yoga will keep everyone happy with enough basics and challenges to suit everyone's needs. Modifications will be taught to make the poses work for individuals. Focus will be on the fundamental postures and combining breath with movement in order to build strength and flexibility.
Zumba Fun and Energy! Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow Latin-inspired dance steps. Guaranteed to leave you sweating, smiling and coming back for more.
